Academic Requirements

For most postgraduate degrees at LJMU, students must have completed a related undergraduate field of study, with some courses also considering relevant professional experience. 1862

Liverpool Mechanics’ School of Arts established.

1864

College of Technology opens, offering courses in science, art and technology.

1900

The college was renamed as Liverpool City Technical College.
