Academic Requirements

Each postgraduate course at Anglia Ruskin University requires an honours degree (2:2 or above) in a related subject for admission to a master’s program. For MPhil with progression to a PhD, a 2:1 or first in a related bachelor’s degree is required. To directly enroll in a PhD program, a master’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required. Some medical master’s programs require a minimum of one year of professional practice. Proficiency in English language (IELTS 6.5 overall with no band lower than 5.5 or equivalent) is mandatory for non-native speakers. Course-specific requirements should be checked with the department concerned.
